Hi, I'm Tasneem Manjra, founder of
a performance marketing agency

About Me

Our founder, Tasneem Manjra, began her career at a performance marketing ad agency, in the heyday of SEM, PPC and other new online tools, back in the early 2000s. These were the early days of Google, Yahoo and MSN and she had the opportunity to work deeply with these partners to test and refine their new online tools as well as productive the agency’s proprietary PPC tool. 

As her career evolved, so too did her expertise – while product, strategy and analytics were her strong suite, she developed a knack for creating end-to-end creative campaigns that met and exceeded her client’s marketing and sales goals. 

Today, Substrate develops connected campaigns that are effective as they are creative.

Our campaigns are award-winning, have received attention and media focus the world over, and have been called “historic”.

We’re type A and we know it. We work extra hard for our clients as a rule, not an exception. The majority of our business is referral-based and repeat; we don’t take for granted the trust clients put in our team, and we want to ensure that we keep it.

Our agency is led by a 1st generation South-Asian female; as a visible minority who grew up in LA, she knows how critical it is to foster an environment that hires and fosters diversity. We are conscientious about our recruiting practices to ensure that talented team members, regardless of their background, are considered. We don’t pity hire, but we do ensure everyone gets a chance.
